CoreNEURON is a optimized compute engine for the widely used NEURON simulator. In this presentation we will discuss how the NEURON simulator is being prepared for modern computing platforms from desktop to large supercomputer systmes. We will show you how can easily run your existing NEURON models with CoreNEURON. We also introduce newly designed NMODL compiler framework which can be used as a handy tool for parsing and analysing any MOD files.
