I am interested in the dynamics of biological neural networks and particularly the interactions of slow-wave oscillations during sleep with externally applied electric fields. We rely on the use of methods from mean-field theory to create population models of large neural networks. For our in silico experiments, we use anatomical brain scans to create whole-brain models that can produce realistic activity using our simulation framework neurolib (https://github.com/neurolib-dev/neurolib)
